On the 24th (Japan time), Canadian singer Justin Bieber (30) took to social media to announce the arrival of his first child.
Justin Bieber shared a heartwarming update on Instagram, captioning a photo of his newborn’s foot with “WELCOME HOME” and revealing the baby’s name, “JACK BLUES BIEBER.” His wife, model Hailey Bieber, also posted the same photo on her Instagram story, adding the words “JACK BLUES” along with a teddy bear and blue heart emoji. The couple, who married in September 2018 and had their wedding ceremony a year later, announced Hailey’s pregnancy with their first child in May of this year.
The couple announced their pregnancy in early May with a video on Instagram showing them renewing their vows in Hawaii. In an interview with W magazine, where Hailey appeared on the cover, she revealed that she had already entered her second trimester when they made the announcement. “My belly didn’t start showing until I was six months along, so I was able to wear big jackets and hide it,” she shared. Hailey also expressed a sense of relief after sharing the news, saying, “I was stressed about not being able to openly enjoy my pregnancy. It felt like I was hiding something big, and that wasn’t a good feeling. I wanted the freedom to go out and live my life.”
After marrying in 2018, the Biebers were often asked about having kids, with both repeatedly saying they wanted to wait. Justin declared on Ellen DeGeneres ‘ talk show that he was excited to become a father one day, but that he would respect his wife’s wishes on how many children she wanted to have. “I’d love to have a little clan, but, yeah, it’s her body and whatever she wants to do with it,” he said.
